Lexington Emergency Management will be testing its network of outdoor warning sirens TODAY between 3pm and 5pm.
If you live near a park or golf course, or are in the downtown area, expect to hear siren wails, tones, chimes and voice announcements.
The testing is necessary due to equipment repairs and systems installation.
THERE IS NO EMERGENCY – NO SEVERE WEATHER IS FORECAST.
Please do not call 9-1-1 for information about the siren test.
