A day shift is on call for Sunday if conditions merit further response.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for central Kentucky that began at 4 p.m. today and remains in effect until 7 a.m. Sunday. Snow accumulations of one to four inches are expected along with wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Road conditions are expected to be extremely hazardous Saturday evening and early Sunday morning. Motorists should use extreme caution if driving is necessary, as the storm is expected to result in slick road conditions and reduced visibility.
