Lexington Emergency Management will be testing its network of outdoor warning sirens TODAY between 11 am and noon.
If you live near a park or golf course or are in the downtown area, expect to hear siren wails, tones, chimes and voice announcements.
THERE IS NO EMERGENCY – THIS IS FOR TESTING PURPOSES ONLY.
Please do not call 9-1-1 for information about the siren test.
